Make a Difference – So Lives Can Be Lived

How can we get more people to want to work at VGR? Västra Götalandsregionen (VGR) continuously needs to attract new employees across many areas. The challenge is that many people don’t actually know what VGR does or the range of services it manages. Our task was to create a campaign that builds the employer brand – highlighting VGR as a progressive, modern workplace with high expertise, while also broadening the perception of VGR as more than just healthcare.

We focused on insights from VGR’s own employee surveys, which revealed that many people feel they are doing meaningful work. This led to our core message: “Make a Difference.” It expresses doing something meaningful – something you believe in that also benefits others. We used it to showcase VGR roles that make a difference in various ways.

We also flipped the message and asked the audience: “What role do you want to play?” – referring both to the professional role they aspire to and the role they want to play in society, making an impact. The campaign highlights how VGR employees work for the people and life in the region, showing how together they create “The Good Life.”
